Restless Indoors

The only thing calming Mr. Crabby tonight was a back porch view. Time for summer. Please.

Streamin' Jones

Currently one of the best parts of my workday is that at some point I'll get a pic of my kid. I don't know if it's because I think he's funny or if I'm reminded my problems at work aren't as smelly or hungry as the ones at home. Either way, I've got a pretty good stream of pics starting last Oct. Here's a few.

Veggie Time

Someone apparently likes cooked carrots as much as his G. Gpa Ted.

This afternoon's conversation.

M: Hey, do you know how to cut up a pomegranite.
J: Yeah you just sliced it up and take out all the little berry things.
M: Good, I've been craving pomegranite.

J: Ummm...that's not a pomegranite.
M: Yes, it is.
J: No, it's a papaya.

M: Crap, what do you do with a papaya?

Anyone know what to do with papaya??

Really??

There are several situations in my day to day squattings that I come across and all I can say is, "Really?!?"

Picture #1. I used to think that only one person in the world created a situation like this, then I found the same situation at work.

Picture #2. I guess the tiny bit of OCD satisfaction I get out of this part of my life is that I get to put the tissue roll on correctly, with the tissue coming over the top, from the back, and hanging down in the front. Easy to reach, easy to rip.

Valentine's Day Post #2...for the "married".

Married men, you must get your wives something. Remember, you aren't the gift.

First I'd like to point out the wrong thinking about Valentines Day. Chocolates, expensive dinners, and flowers are what women THINK they want. It's also what men THINK women want. People just don't know any better. Far better than the predictable gifts that companies in our culture are making extreme $$ from, are the gifts that no one expects and make your lover say, "Oooo-la-la..."

This year I followed the wise advise of my grandmother and got Maria gifts she's always wanted...a new popcorn maker, gummy bears, and a steamy card.
