here's one to read, but it's even better on audio cd so you can laugh together: "The sweetness at the bottom of the pie" by Alan Bradley. it's a murder mystery that's 1/2 funny but actually works. We are also enjoying "Stardust". "This ordinary Adventure: Settling down without settling" was also a fav of mine.
